Anghild’s Table: Where Stories Are Set, One Table at a Time

Anghild’s Table was born from memory.

Some of my earliest and warmest memories live around my grandmother’s table. It was never just a place to eat—it was where life unfolded. Coffee lingered long after meals were finished. Conversations wandered. Family gossip was shared softly or laughed about loudly. And always, beneath it all, were her table linens.

They were a little kitschy, a little unexpected—and completely full of personality. Some told stories of her travels to the Florida Keys. Others reflected her Swedish heritage. Sometimes there was homemade crochet, sometimes bold prints, but there was always fabric woven through our lives. The table linens were never an afterthought; they were part of the story being told.

My grandmother believed deeply in table time. So much so that when I got my first apartment, she bought me my very first piece of furniture: a dining room table. That gift wasn’t just wood and legs—it was an invitation to gather, to host, to linger. I loved setting that table with linens that reflected the season, the mood, the moment. It felt like carrying her tradition forward.

That feeling is what inspired Anghild’s Table.

We are a small, family-run business creating short-run, unique table runners, napkins, and placemats made from natural fabrics. We don’t believe in mass production or disposable design. Each piece is created in limited quantities, meant to feel special—because your table moments are special.

Our designs are conversation starters, not background noise. We believe you don’t need three-foot-tall floral arrangements to make an impression. The most meaningful moments happen in the everyday: a quiet breakfast, a casual dinner, coffee after dessert. It’s those shared moments—over a beautiful, thoughtfully set table—that create lifetime impressions of love and laughter.

At Anghild’s Table, we want to bring storytelling back to the table. To help you create a backdrop for memories yet to be made. Whether it’s a festive gathering or an ordinary Tuesday night, your table deserves to feel intentional, warm, and alive with meaning.

Because long after the dishes are cleared, what remains are the stories—and the table that held them.
